Thanks for your feedback. Because when I do that, my docx file becomes a xps and the XPS Viewer that was easily available on my Win 10 version is apparently removed with the Win 11 upgrade. I don't know why I didn't do this right away but I'm going back to the HP driver. It works; all things print in color; now I just have to find where Windows insists on overwriting HPs print driver.

Every time I log back in I have to reset the printers advance settings. Through your description, you install back the original driver, printing is normal, may be the driver is not the latest cause, you can try to consult the HP website whether there is the latest adaptation of the win11 driver, you can print out color documents.
