Just wondering if someone can give me more detail in how to set it up. Glasses are flickering and the projector is flickering but I just see the two images like the glasses and the projector were out of sync. Bash, not all dlp projectors will work, I am using a CRT projector myself, but maybe people who have successful DLP solutions at 85hz will post thier results, it may be your particular projector is not capable of s3d at 85hz. I know I have read here that certain optoma and sharp models have worked.
I did not see your DLP listed. I tried using it with my BenQ MP x 85hz and it was pretty awful. Perhaps it was because its stretched out ", but the effect was lame. I did not try wearing them upside down, as the guy above suggested, so that could have been the problem. I'll check later. But when I start the wizard automatically goes to X resolution so it only supports 85 hz and the 3D does not work. As I can do to make the run at X 3D Assistant and thus supports hz? A restart may also be needed for things to work properly before running the setup wizard for 3D Vision…. I can put the screen resolution from the nvidia control panel to X, hz without any problem. The problem starts when I run the configuration wizard nvidia 3d. As you open the wizard window, the projector offers a resolution of X and 85 hz are the maximum that my projector supports that resolution.
I just need to know what I have to do to keep nvidia 3d wizard automatically change the resolution when it runs. I think the hardest part, which was that the computer think my projector is actually a CRT is already done. Considered buying a DLP projector this weekend in between sessions of Minecraft. Hope you can help. I am undecided whether to take a K Acer or an Acer H? Acer K does not suport 3d vision, but has a lamp life of hours, for the 3d I could try your method? I bought the Acer PW its awsome for the price. You do have to go through a computer to get the 3D to work. I thought i was screwed when the 3d didnt work when i put a blu ray 3d movie in and played it thru my Projector. My resolution was correct and at hz. I found a program called TotalMedia Theatre 5!
As soon as i installed it and played the blu ray 3d movie and turned the glasses on everything worked!!! I had to adjust a few settings but nothing major.
Dont forget not all projectors have to go thru a computer to work but you will prob pay more for them. I also have a BenQ MS So, I upgraded to a GTX Now, when I use Stereoscopic player, the refresh rate changes from hz to 85hz in full screen mode! NO 3D! Any ideas on how to fix this?
